About Arc Control
The Peninsula community restrictions require owners to obtain prior approval for changes or improvements to the exterior of the property. This includes painting a different color, installing a fence or basketball goal, removing a tree or making significant landscape changes just to provide a few examples. Owners are asked to use the Architectural Request form to submit their plans and request for approval.
The Architectural and Landscape Guidelines are designed to assist in the process of submitting and reviewing changes and improvements.
They consist of three components:
- Architectural and Design Guidelines
- Landscape Guidelines
- Construction Rules
The ACC may establish a more restrictive "Building Envelope" than the envelope or setback lines shown on the recorded plat or as otherwise required by the applicable zoning authority. All buildings on the Lot (including any stoops, porches, patios, terraces, etc.) and all swimming pools, tennis courts and similar recreational improvements must be erected within the Building Envelope established by the ACC. Building Envelopes approved by the ACC are cataloged by Lot number and can be downloaded from the website.
If you do not know your lot number, please review the Lot Number Listing.
